This Privacy Policy explains how The CiGodfather (“we,” “us,” the “Lounge”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use The CiGodfather. We keep this short and plain on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to us at concierge@thecigodfather.com.
We collect only what we need to run the Lounge:

The Cigar Don’s replies are generated by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic). To produce a reply, the message you send — and, when you share one, the photograph — is transmitted to that provider for processing. Photographs you share with the Don are also stored in our hosting storage so they can appear in the room and in your humidor. Please do not share sensitive personal information you would not want processed in this way.
We share information only with the providers that help us run the Lounge, and only as needed for them to perform their service:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer. Each provider has its own privacy practices.
The Lounge uses your browser’s local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences (for example, that you have confirmed your age, your sign-in, and certain usage counters). These are necessary for the Lounge to function. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. You can clear your humidor and the information the Cigar Don remembers about you at any time using the “clear” option in your account, and you can ask us to delete your account entirely (see below).
You can review and update much of your information from within the Lounge, and you can cancel a paid membership at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:

Members in Canada have rights under the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA); members in other regions may have similar rights under their local laws.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No online service can be perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your own account access secure.
The Lounge is intended only for adults of legal age (see our Terms) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the legal age. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We and our providers are located in Canada and the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in those countries and others where our providers operate. Where required, we take steps so that your information continues to be protected when it is transferred.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the Lounge or by email.
